History
Augusto Taillefer Gil (1900-1981) se hizo cargo de la empresa Taillefer S.A. a la muerte de su padre, Augusto Taillefer Panyagua (1868-1938). En 1954 construirían el edificio Taillefer en la Alameda Principal. A finales de los años 50, el comercio TAISA, en la plaza del Siglo, dedicado a la venta de electrodomésticos.
Casado en 1925 en la iglesia San Miguel de Miramar, en Málaga, con Manuela Pérez Pasquín, tuvo 8 hijos: Elvira, Augusto, Juan, Eugenio, Francisco, María Teresa, Manuel y Carlos.
Su hijo, Eugenio Taillefer Pérez casa con Mirentxu de Haya Gálvez, hija de Josefina Gálvez y Carlos de Haya, con la que tiene 6 hijos: Carlos, Mirentxu, Javier, Lidia, Hector y Gonzalo.
